MST proposes the “listening before seeing” learning technique, which encourages the educational world to take advantage of the valuable, most noise-sensitive time in a child’s life by cultivating their musical, linguistic, and thought processing abilities during this time. This limited stage lasts from ages 0-6, and children pick up their mother tongue the fastest between ages 1-2. Studies have shown that, when listening skills are accompanied with training, special abilities (such as distinguishing sounds, imitating words and explaining their meaning, concentration and thinking, and more) are unquestionably even further developed.
